Calling all festival fans! Head over to Butler for their annual Butler Days Festival happening all weekend long (Friday, Aug 9th – Saturday, Aug 10th, 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM). Expect food, fun, and small-town vibes!
Saturday, August 10th is shaping up to be a busy day:
- Calling all bookworms! The Friends of Eckhart Public Library are having a book and media sale (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM). Score some amazing deals on books, movies, and more, all while supporting the library!
- Calling all golfers! The Charleston Metal Products / United Way of DeKalb County Golf Outing (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) is a great way to support a good cause while enjoying a day on the green.
- Need to shred some documents? Head to the Eckhart Public Library (9:00 AM – 11:00 AM) for their free shredding service. Perfect chance to get rid of those old tax returns or love letters from your high school crush (we all have them!).
- Calling all dog lovers and young readers! Dog Tales is happening at the Eckhart Public Library (10:30 AM – 11:15 AM). Kids can practice reading to some furry friends from Therapy Dogs International.
- Calling all animal lovers! Soarin’ Hawk Raptor Rehab is bringing their magnificent birds to the F&M Bank parking lot in Butler (1:30 PM – 2:30 PM). Get up close and personal with these incredible raptors!
- Calling all music lovers! The band REkT will be rocking out at the Auburn Professional Firefighters Association Block Party (7:00 PM – 11:00 PM) at Cricket’s 7th Street Bar & Grille. This free event supports the Gary McPheters Scholarship Program.
