Looking for some fun in Dekalb County this weekend? Buckle up, because we’ve got a dilly of a line-up!
Kicking things off early with todays events (Thursday July 18th)
- Get your pucker on at the 28th Annual St. Joe Pickle Festival (Famous Saint Joe, Indiana Pickle Festival Page)! This three-day extravaganza (July 18th-20th) is a brine-tastic celebration with a pickle derby, mind-blowing pickle ice cream, live entertainment, and free activities for the kiddos.
- Head to Auburn for a classic car cruise-in hosted by the ACD Festival. Cruise on down (pun intended) to Downtown Auburn, Indiana for a free, family-friendly evening from 5 PM to 8 PM.
On Friday (July 19th)
- Need some official business done? Head to the Eckhart Public Library in Auburn between 9:30 AM and 3 PM for their Idemia E-Fingerprinting Service. Appointments are required.
- After that, get back to the picklin’ fun at the 28th Annual St. Joe Pickle Festival (Famous Saint Joe, Indiana Pickle Festival Page) from 4 PM to 9 PM.
- End your night with some free tunes under the stars! Whoa, Man is performing a free, all-ages concert at the Dekalb Outdoor Theater in Auburn from 7:30 PM to 9 PM.
Saturday (July 20th) is jam-packed
- The 28th Annual St. Joe Pickle Festival (Famous Saint Joe, Indiana Pickle Festival Page) continues its reign from 4 PM to 9 PM.
- Feeling nostalgic? Byler Lane Winery is hosting a Back to the 80s Singo night from 6 PM to 8 PM. No reservations are needed, and Paddywagon will be there to fuel your 80s dance moves with some delicious food.
- Calling all DeKalb High School Class of 1991 graduates! There’s a reunion happening at the Auburn Moose Lodge from 6 PM to 11 PM. It’s a casual get-together to celebrate and remember classmates. Food options are still being decided, but the bar will be open!
There you have it! A weekend filled with pickles, classic cars, live music, 80s nostalgia, and maybe even some rekindled high school friendships.
